These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the website of Kankei Studio Limited (Company No. 15458171), located at shotbygul.co.uk ("the Site").

By accessing this website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Please do not continue to use shotbygul if you do not agree with all of the terms and conditions on this page.

Our services

shotbygul offers portrait, editorial, wedding, product and event photography services, bookable through the Site. Where you book a shoot or session with us, these terms, together with any booking confirmation, quote, or agreement we send you, form the basis of our contract with you.

Bookings and payment. A booking is confirmed once a deposit or payment has been received, as set out at the time of booking. Full payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling policy, and any applicable notice periods will be confirmed with you directly as part of the booking process.

Delivery of images. Turnaround times for edited images will be agreed with you at the time of booking or in our booking confirmation.

Ownership of photographs

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Kankei Studio Limited (trading as shotbygul) retains copyright and all intellectual property rights in the photographs we take, including images delivered to clients.

Where you book a shoot with us, you're granted a licence to use the delivered images for personal, non-commercial purposes (for example, printing, sharing, or posting to your own social media), unless we've agreed a wider commercial usage licence with you in writing. You must not sell, sub-license, alter, or use delivered images for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Kankei Studio Limited and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on shotbygul, including photographs, text, and design. All rights are reserved. You may access the Site for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions in these terms.

You must not:

• Copy or republish material from shotbygul

• Sell, rent, or sub-license material from shotbygul

• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from shotbygul

• Redistribute content from shotbygul

This Agreement begins on the date you first access the Site.

Comments

Parts of the Site may allow users to post and exchange opinions and information. Kankei Studio Limited does not filter, edit, publish, or review comments before they appear on the Site. Comments reflect the views of the person who posted them, not those of Kankei Studio Limited. To the extent permitted by law, Kankei Studio Limited is not liable for comments or any damages arising from their use or appearance on the Site.

Kankei Studio Limited reserves the right to monitor all comments and remove any considered inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of these terms.

By posting a comment, you warrant that:

• You're entitled to post it and hold all necessary licences and consents to do so

• It does not infringe any intellectual property right, including copyright, patent, or trademark

• It is not defamatory, libellous, offensive, indecent, or otherwise unlawful, or an invasion of privacy

• It will not be used to solicit or promote business, or for unlawful activity

You grant Kankei Studio Limited a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, edit, and authorise others to use, reproduce, and edit your comments in any format or media.

Hyperlinking to our content

The following organisations may link to our Site without prior written approval:

• Government agencies

• Search engines

• News organisations

• Online directory distributors, in the same manner they hyperlink to other listed businesses

• System-wide accredited businesses, except soliciting non-profit organisations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups

These organisations may link to our home page, publications, or other Site information, provided the link: (a) is not deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party's site.
